Jets agree to terms with Breno Giacomini
The New York Jets have agreed to a deal with former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Breno Giacomini, the team announced.
He replaces right offensive tackle Austin Howard, who signed with the Oakland Raiders.
Giacomini is a 6-foot-7, 318-pound former Green Bay Packers fifth-round selection.
Giacomini started every game in 2012 when Jets general manager John Idzik was with the Seahawks.
He started a dozen games last season for the Super Bowl champions.
He missed seven games as he came back from knee surgery.
