Jameis Winston lectured FSU during halftime of Ole Miss win (Video)

At halftime of Florida State’s game against Ole Miss, former quarterback Jameis Winston walked into the locker room and let his former program have it.

The Seminoles were trailing Ole Miss 28-13 and had spent much of the first half out of sorts and mistake-plagued. In a video caught by Showtime Sports, Winston, now the starting quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spent 44 seconds reminding the Seminoles who they are.

The pep talk must have worked because Florida State went on to outscore Ole Miss 32-6 in the second half and win its season opener 45-34.

The video was a teaser for Showtime’s “A Season With Florida State Football,” which premieres tonight at 10 p.m. Last year, Showtime did a similar series with Notre Dame.
