Jaguars Take Down Titans, 21-13
The Jaguars picked up the victory against the Titans, 21-13, at home.
Blake Bortles finished the game 13 of 26 with 115 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. On the Titans side, Charlie Whitehurst went 24 for 35 with 287 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions.
Jordan Todman rushed for 71 yards on five carries with a touchdown. In the fourth quarter, he took advantage of an opening for a 62-yard score. Marqise Lee caught four passes for 65 yards.
The Jacksonville defense was the major reason for the victory, giving up 95 yards rushing and 287 passing. They harassed Whitehurst and the Titans offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Titans tight end Delanie Walker put up 54 receiving yards. Next to Whitehurst, he had the best game for Tennessee.
The Jaguars head to Houston next week to face the Texans (7-7) while the Titans host the Colts (10-4).
