The importance of the pp goal
In some fantasy leagues, poolies play just the power play goal categories while most play power play points. There is a huge difference as some players can pile up an unbelievable amount of assists while not scoring at all or very much. Nicklas Backstrom led last season in points with 44 but scored only six times (tied for 67th best). Teammate Alex Ovechkin was first in goals with 24 and second in points with 39.
Here are your power play points leaders who have yet to score with their assist totals in brackets.
