Guard Garrett Temple has signed a contract with the Miami Heat, the team announced Thursday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
He spent last season with Junior Casale Monferrato of the Italian Serie A2 League, averaging 9.5 points.
Temple played for three NBA teams in 2010-11 -- the Charlotte Bobcats, Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs. He also spent time in the NBA D-League that season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and the Erie BayHawks.
