Eagles Gameday: Boston College Vs. No. 17 Florida State
Boston College returns to action on Monday night as they hit the road after six days off to square off at No. 17 Florida State. The game at 7:00 p.m. inside the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN U and can be heard on the BC IMG Sports Radio Network. BC has now lost ten in a row, including 12 of their last 13 games.
After a hot 15-1 start to the season, the Seminoles have struggled going just 5-5 since then. Including dropping four of the last seven contests. Most recently they lost on Saturday at Pittsburgh, 80-66. It was their second loss in a row after falling at Notre Dame seven days earlier by double digits, 84-72. Sophomore Dwayne Bacon leads in FSU in scoring with 17 points per game. He didn't score in Saturday's loss to Pitt. Star freshman Jonathan Isaac leads the Seminoles in rebounds with 8 boards per game.

Series Facts: Boston College is 5-9 all-time against the Seminoles. Florida State has won the last five meetings and eight of the last nine. The Seminoles won both games last year in Conte Forum and in the first round of the ACC Tournament at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Eagles are 1-5 all-time in Tallahassee with the lone win coming in 2007, a 68-67 victory. In that game, Tyrelle Blair's 15-foot jumper with 3.3 seconds left gave BC the win. Jared Dudley had 23 points and 10 rebounds in the win while Tyrese Rice also scored 23 points..
