Durant fined $25,000

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant was fined $25,000 by the league on Friday for a "menacing gesture" during Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors.

Durant was cited for pretending to cut his throat after he had a dunk in the second quarter of the Thunder's victory.

After the throat-slashing gesture, Durant crossed his hands in a prayer gesture.

"Kill 'em and pray for 'em after the game, " Durant said of the gesture. "It's nothing against the team I'm playing against. Come out with a mind-set and be friends after the game."

It's the first time Durant has been fined in his NBA career.
