Drew Brees admits that his sons aren't New Orleans Saints fans

Drew Brees was a guest on “The Dan Patrick Show” and was asked about one of his sons being a Cam Newton fan.

That’s the truth, it turns out. But it gets worse: None of his three sons’ favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints.

Look at dad, taking sacks at home too. That’s brutal.

“When asked what their favorite teams are, I had two say the New York Giants and one say the Carolina Panthers,” Brees said.

Naturally, the Saints play three games against those two teams this season.

“I don’t know what gets into these kids’ heads, to be honest with you,” Brees deadpanned.

Brees’ two oldest sons are Giants fans because they go to the same school, Newman, that Peyton and Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. attended growing up. So Brees chalks that up to a “school pride” kind of deal. But what’s the deal with his youngest song, Callen, who turns 4 in August? He loves dad but prefers the Panthers to the Saints — no reason given.

“That’s all right,” Brees said, “I’ll just have to take it out on them in the yard when they want to play football or basketball.”
