Dolphins re-sign OL Garner

Offensive lineman Nate Garner re-signed with the Miami Dolphins.

The sixth-year veteran has appeared in 48 career games, seeing action at all five positions along the line. Garner played in all 16 games for the Dolphins last season, including four starts at right tackle.

"We are happy that Nate has reached an agreement to stay with the team," said general manager Jeff Ireland. "He is a respected and versatile player along the offensive line and we are glad to have him back."

Garner was originally a seventh-round pick of the New York Jets in 2008.
