Cribbs has 'great visit' with Raiders

Free agent Josh Cribbs had a "great visit" with Oakland and the Raiders are one of a handful of teams showing interest in the former Cleveland Browns special teams star, according to ESPN.

Cribbs was on the verge of signing a deal with Arizona early in the free-agent period, but the Cardinals were concerned about the health of his knees. The 29-year-old Cribbs was not fully recovered from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.

The Raiders might be interested in using Cribbs as a receiver, as well as a returner. His best year as a wide receiver was in 2011 when he had 41 receptions and four touchdowns.

For his career, Cribbs has eight kickoff returns for touchdowns, which is tied for the NFL record.
