Colts sign third-round pick Hilton

The Colts signed rookie wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to a four-year contract.

The Colts traded back into the third round, sending multiple picks to the 49ers to get the 92nd overall selection and choose Hilton. Hilton was a standout receiver and return specialist at Florida International.

At 5-9, 183 pounds, he became Florida International's highest drafted player in school history. Hilton started 37 of 50 collegiate contests and holds FIU career records with 229 receptions for 3,531 yards and 24 touchdowns, finishing 10th among active NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision performers for receptions, sixth for receiving yards and 14th for touchdowns.

Hilton also holds the all-time receiving yardage and touchdown catches in the Sun Belt Conference and had six total return touchdowns.

The Colts have signed seven of their 10 draft picks.
