Chargers' Floyd out vs Titans

Wide receiver Malcom Floyd sat out practice Wednesday and said he won't play Sunday when the San Diego Chargers play the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

Floyd described what happened when he hurt his neck against the Eagles, taking a direct hit from linebacker DeMeco Ryans, and it's chilling to hear.

"As soon as I got hit, all of my limbs just went limp and there was this subdued shock throughout my whole body," Floyd said. "Once I came to my neck was pretty sore."

Floyd said hard hits like the one he absorbed are part of the game.

"You've just got to understand that and move on," he said. "We'll just take it day-by-day and see how it goes and hopefully it gets better."
