Capitals' Mite on Ice delivers snow angel celebration after goal (Video)

The intermission Mites on Ice game is one of the most entertaining parts of your evening while attending a hockey game. Little kids skating around the ice all chasing after the puck like a swarm of bees is sometimes better than the actual game you paid to go watch.

And when one of those little kids scores a goal, it’s a big deal for them. They just scored on the ice that their heroes play on, so the kids want to make the most out of the experience.

Take young Liam here. After beating the goalie short side during intermission of Thursday night’s Washington Capitals game at Verizon Center, he wanted to celebrate, and celebrate he did.

Liam’s joy is definitely up there with that of Micha’s, another Capitals Mite who scored a goal during an intermission last month and proceeded to celebrate in his own way. He then got to see the Capitals end the Columbus Blue Jacket’s 16-game winning streak, so it was a pretty good night to remember.
