Bucs sign Parrish, waive Shipley

Wide receiver Roscoe Parrish signed with the Bucs, who waived Jordan Shipley.

Parrish played seven seasons with the Bills and signed with the Chargers over the offseason, but was later released. He has a 12.0-yard career punt return average and is known as a potential big-play threat out of the slot, although his career has been hampered by injuries.

Shipley was signed by Tampa Bay after being released by Cincinnati, and has struggled to regain his form following a season-ending knee injury in 2011.

It's further tweaking of the receiving corps for the Bucs, who added Shipley, Tiquan Underwood and Chris Owusu last week, replacing Sammie Stroughter (injured reserve) and Preston Parker (released).
