Browns Suffer 17-13 Defeat Against Panthers
Jordan Cameron had a big day receiving, but it wasn't enough to avoid a defeat for the Browns against the Panthers, 17-13, in Charlotte.
Brian Hoyer went 7 for 13 for 134 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. Cam Newton put up better numbers for the Panthers, and wound up 18 for 31 with 201 yards passing, two touchdowns (1 pass, 1 rush) and one pick.
Isaiah Crowell ran for 55 yards on 16 carries. Cameron was a top performer, snagging three balls for 88 yards with a touchdown.
The Cleveland defense surrendered 201 yards passing and 209 rushing. They tackled Newton for a sack.
Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was impressive, churning out 122 yards rushing and one touchdown.
The Browns head to Baltimore next week to face off with the Ravens (9-6) while the Panthers travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons (6-9).
