Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams' $40.25 million five-year contract extension includes $14.6 million in guaranteed money, according to a league source with knowledge of the deal.
It didn't include a signing bonus and has voidable years. It averages $7.924 million annually.
Originally due a $630,000 base salary this year, his new base salary is $7.2 million. It's fully guaranteed for skill, injury and cap with an $8.33 million salary-cap figure, a $1 million roster bonus and a $1.4 million escalator clause.
In 2014, he has a $1.2 million base salary fully guaranteed, a $600,000 workout bonus and a $1.8 million salary-cap figure.
In 2015, Williams has a $5.2 million base salary fully guaranteed and a $1 million roster bonus and a $600,000 workout bonus with a $6.8 million salary-cap figure.
In 2016, Williams has a $5.6 million base salary not guaranteed with a $1 million roster bonus and a $600,000 workout bonus with a $7.2 million salary-cap figure.
In 2017, Williams has a $5.9 million base salary, a $1 million roster bonus and $600,000 workout bonuses with a $7.5 million salary-cap figure.
In 2018, Williams has a $4.15 million base salary, a $4 million roster bonus and a $600,000 workout bonus with a salary-cap figure of $8.75 million.
