Blue Jackets' Gaborik injured again

In the first action since missing 17 games with a sprained knee, Columbus Blue Jackets forward Marian Gaborik went down with another injury.

Gaborik suffered a broken collarbone on a hit from Philadelphia Flyers center Zac Rinaldo and defenseman Braydon Coburn during the first period of the Blue Jackets' 6-3 victory on Saturday night in Nationwide Arena.

The Blue Jackets announced during the game that Gaborik will be out indefinitely. The 31-year-old veteran just came off injured reserve on Friday after taking care of the knee issue.

On the play when the injury occurred, left winger Nick Foligno grabbed the rebound and fed center Ryan Johansen for a 1-0 lead at 10:43 of the first period. Gaborik was credited with an assist on the goal.

Gaborik, who came to the Blue Jackets last season from the New York Rangers, has five goals and 12 points in 18 games this season.
