Blackhawks recall Morin, Nordstrom from AHL
The Chicago Blackhawks announced Wednesday that they recalled forwards Jeremy Morin and Joakim Nordstrom from Rockford of the AHL and reassigned forward Brandon Pirri to Rockford.
Also, defenseman Michael Kostka will report to Rockford on a conditioning assignment.
Morin has three assists in nine games this season with the Blackhawks and has 12 points (six goals and six assists) in 13 games with Rockford.
Nordstrom scored one goal in eight games for the Blackhawks earlier in the season. He has six points (five goals and one assist) in 15 games with Rockford.
Pirri has 11 points (six goals and five assists) in 24 games with the Blackhawks this season. He also has three assists in three games with Rockford.
Kostka has one goal in two games with Chicago this season. He was placed on injured reserve Oct. 25 and is eligible to stay in Rockford for up to six days or three games under the terms of his conditioning assignment.
