Aug 19 (The Sports Xchange) - The on-again, off-again trade of Chase Utley to the Los Angeles Dodgers appears to be coming to pass. CBSSports.com reported Wednesday that the Philadelphia Phillies agreed to trade the second baseman and $2 million to the Dodgers in exchange for two unnamed minor-leaguers but that the deal was not yet signed. - - The Cincinnati Reds placed outfielder Billy Hamilton on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained right shoulder and recalled outfielder Brennan Boesch from Triple-A Louisville. - - The Atlanta Braves activated first baseman Freddie Freeman from the disabled list and optioned utility player Joey Terdoslavich to Triple-A Gwinnett. Freeman, 25, had been on the DL since Aug. 4 with a strained right oblique muscle. He was in the lineup against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday. - - Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is day-to-day with a minor right hamstring strain.
