Stats tell us Cuban isn't happy Obama is President

Yesterday, while searching for his lost hat and umbrella in the Basketball-Reference.com's franchise index pages, David Berri of the excellent Wages of Wins Journal stumbled upon a pretty odd fact about Cuban's Mavericks. I would like to share it with you. Here it is:

"[The Mavericks have] never made the playoffs when a Democrat was President. With a Republican in the White House, though, they made the playoffs in fourteen out of twenty seasons. So if Obama manages to stay in office for eight years, fans of this team should expect a very long drought."

Hmm, I wonder if Cuban is so "bullish on America" now?

    The Dems were always much tougher on the Cuban embargo...it makes sense.

    well, the lakers are even more screwed. they won't win a title unless a republican rules. LOL
    seriously, in order to be related, the samplesize has to be a little bit over 20.

    Has anyone thought about talking about the situation of McNabb? This country wanted to impeach a president on the same level of injustice, ( [profane] vs lawn job)! My whole idea of concern is that I have not heard anything about this issue on TV! I can guarantee you that if Bret Farve had a house in Harlem and it had been vandalized, everyone young black man would be stopped searched and tazed at will in the streets of Harlem! Why don’t you think that Rex and Ryan should not get the same attention that Tyrone, Cutz, and Ba-ba should get?

    Hello,
    My commit was not profane, I only stated a lawn blower tool! Further more, have you heard what has happen to Donovan McNabb? I hope he leaves the state of Philidephia and the racist area of injustice! My concern is with the non coverage of his situation, vs the bull crap of ESPN and Yahoo News!

    i agree with Cuban for once on something...im no fan of Barack Hussein Obama either....maybe its the name tht scares me....or tht he went to a terrorist's daughter's wedding......either or...
