Player Notes
Andrew Miller stifled the Blue Jays' attempt at a comeback, recording the final out of Tuesday's 6-3 win to earn his 11th save.

Advice: David Carpenter took the mound at the start of the ninth with a 6-0 lead, but the Jays were all over him, scoring three times on a home run, a walk, a ground-rule double, and a single. Miller came in with a runner on first base and two outs to put out the fire. He walked pinch-hitter Jose Bautista to bring the winning run to the plate, but got Devon Travis to fly out to end the game at long last. Miller is 11-for-11 in save chances with a 23/7 K/BB ratio in 13 2/3 innings on the season.

Andrew Miller worked a scoreless ninth inning against the Red Sox on Sunday, protecting a three-run advantage and picking up his 10th save of the season.

Advice: It wasn't as easy as most of the hard-throwing southpaw's save chances have been this year, as a pair of walks put the tying run at the plate in the form of David Ortiz, but Miller was able to escape unscathed. He still has yet to allow a run in 13 1/3 innings on the season and sports a dazzling 23/6 K/BB ratio.

Tue, May 5 Rotoworld
Andrew Miller picked up his eighth save of the season with a clean ninth inning as the Yankees topped the Rays 4-1 on Monday.

Advice: Miller allowed a leadoff single to Evan Longoria, but was able to see his way out of the inning without any further damage, culminating with a strikeout of Jake Elmore. Miller continues to excel in the ninth inning for the Yankees, going 8-for-8 in save chances with a spotless ERA and a 17/4 K/BB ratio in 9 1/3 innings.

Sun, May 3 Rotoworld
Andrew Miller slammed the door on the Mets on Sunday night, preserving a two-run advantage to earn his seventh save of the season.

Advice: At this point, Miller is the Yankees closer and Dellin Betances has been relegated to eighth inning duty. Miller has been simply outstanding in pinstripes, he hasn't allowed a run in 8 1/3 innings while posting an absurd 16/4 K/BB ratio and converting all seven of his save chances.
