Player Notes
Nolan Arenado launched a solo homer in Monday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Arenado made an uncharacteristic two fielding errors in the game, but his solo jack in the fourth inning knotted things up at the time. It was his 26th longball of the season, as he now trails teammate Trevor Story by one home run for the National League lead.

Nolan Arenado is not in Thursday's lineup against the Braves.

Advice: It sounds like a routine day off for the All-Star third baseman. Cristhian Adames will start at third base and bat eighth against Mike Foltynewicz.Daily Slant: Arenado's absence is bad news for the DFS community, although it brightens the outlook for a few of the Rockies bats who find themselves in favorable lineup spots. Daniel Descalso will slide up to the fifth spot in the order, and while he's been thought of as a light-hitting infielder throughout his career, he's enjoying a .394 wOBA at home against RHP this season. Trevor Story slots into the clean-up spot behind Blackmon, LeMahieu and Gonzalez, giving him some added RBI opportunities.
