Player Notes
Nolan Arenado spanked a three-run homer in Wednesday's victory over the Giants.

Advice: He finished 1-for-4, with the three-run bomb -- courtesy of a sluggish Tim Lincecum slider -- the difference in a 4-2 win. Arenado and his offensive mates are apparently trying to revive the Blake Street Bomber moniker of Rockies' past. The young third baseman is slashing .324/.395/.735 and the Rockies are off to a 7-2 start, including a stunning 6-0 on the road, fresh off a sweep in San Francisco of the defending champs. Can the Rockies keep it up? Doubtful. Can Arenado? A monster season isn't out of the question.

Nolan Arenado hit a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Arenado hit the tater off Jason Hammel in the second inning. It was his second home run on the early season and bodes well for the youngster, who finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. He's off to a 9-for-20 start in 2015. Still just 24 years old, Arenado could be in for a big season. Last year, he hit 18 home runs and collected 61 RBI in just 111 games.
