Player Notes
Albert Pujols continued his march toward the 500 home run club, launching his 497th career long ball in Friday's win over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: He finished the night 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI. He has looked somewhat like the Pujols of old in April, hitting .279/.347/.574 with five homers and 13 RBI. As long as he can manage to stay healthy, it looks as if he'll be incredibly productive hitting behind Mike Trout in the middle of the Angels lineup.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI in Monday's 3-2 loss to the A's.

Advice: Warning: Pujols is officially heating up. He's now hit a homer in four of his last six games. In those contests, he's collected eight RBI and four walks. Oh, and did we mention he's riding a 10-game hitting streak? Only two of those games featured more than one hit, but fantasy owners hardly care when he's drilling the ball like this. Pujols is slashing .259/.322/.556 with four homers and nine RBI.

Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 2-0 triumph over the Mariners.

Advice: With Garrett Richards utterly befuddling the Mariners on the mound, the Halos didn't need any more offense than Pujols' third inning two-run blast off Roenis Elias. After a sluggish start to the season, Pujols has homered in two straight games. Good thing, as Los Angeles needs his bat with Josh Hamilton out of the lineup.
