Leather-clad lefty: Jonathan Sanchez is Joe Cool in fashion shoot
You know the old saying: To the victors go the high-end fashion shoots.
Wait, they don't say that? Well, they might after this offseason, which has featured one star on the cover of GQ, another in the New York Times style section, and now Jonathan Sanchez(notes) is taking his turn as one of West Coast Leather's featured models. Surely a Vidal Sassoon spot for Matt Cain(notes) cannot be far behind.
Though it was just brought to our attention, it appears that Sanchez's leather spot was actually filmed on Oct. 4, just after the Giants clinched the NL West and before they faced the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. Sanchez recorded 11 strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings in Game 3 of that series and it's not hard to see why, after looking at the muse he met earlier that week.
