Even if they don't give you the power to run up a wall, you have to admit these new Nike crosstrainers are pretty cool. They're patterned and stitched to look like a baseball glove and they're based off the shoes Bo Jackson started hawking for Nike during the "Bo Knows" era of 1989. They're also only $109, which seems cheap for a pair of sneakers these days.
No, they're not quite Scottie Pippen's Air Huaraches on the nostalgia scale for me, and they do look a little bit like a mutant pair of Timberlands. But if anyone can confirm these will get you in good enough shape to run over Brian Bosworth — 1987 Boz, not 2010 Boz — I'm probably in.
