Portland Timbers' Diego Chara poised to break all-time MLS record

Portland Timbers' Diego Chara poised to break all-time MLS record

Diego Chara was one of members of the Portland Timbers when they joined MLS in 2011. Chara is expected to be among the starting 11 when the Timbers take on Los Angeles FC on Saturday. If he does play, he will have played in his 377th match with the club, breaking the league's all-time record for most games played with a single club. Chara will break the record of 376 games, held by former San Jose Earthquakes striker Chris Wondolowski.
