Matt Campbell on the 'huge impact' new tablet rules could have for Iowa State football

When the NCAA rules committee approved a slew of changes for college football set to take place this fall, most of the attention was directed toward the allowance of radio communication between coaches and one of their players on the field. Iowa State coach Matt Campbell, though, believes the more significant approved change was largely overlooked. “One of the bigger things that nobody is talking about is the tablet on the sideline,” Campbell said last week. It can provide video both from the television broadcast as well as angles from the sideline and end zone.
