Dead body discovered in Nutts Pond
Aug. 10—A dead man was found floating in Nutts Pond in Manchester Tuesday morning, police said.
Police termed the matter an untimely death and said the man was found in the water about 9:10 a.m.
Manchester police, the New Hampshire Marine Patrol, Manchester Fire and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner staged at Precourt Park, which is at the northern end of the pond just off South Willow Street.
Police did not pinpoint where the body was found. The edge of the pond is frequented by homeless people who often camp in the area.
