Ohio State mascot gets tackled hard

There's a reason college mascots roam the sidelines and the stands and don't actually get in on any real game action. And at Ohio State's student appreciation day, we were reminded of that reason. Brutus the mascot was in to run a play at quarterback, and while he did a nice job of escaping pressure in the pocket, he probably wasn't ready to meet linebacker David Perkins in the open field. In what was a clean yet powerful hit, Brutus was laid out hard on the play and even fumbled the ball in the process. So while the students in attendance probably appreciated the play, Brutus had to be feeling that one in the morning!

The New York Knicks are the latest team to be on a double-digit win streak in the NBA, and with the help of Carmelo Anthony scoring over 35 points in each of the last four games they have pushed that streak to 12. He pitched in 36 when the Knicks visited Oklahoma City on Sunday, and J.R. Smith hit a deep three with time winding down to help push New York past the Thunder, 125-120.

The Los Angeles Clippers have finally won a division title, and it only took them 29 years to do it! Their 109-95 win over the Lakers on Sunday completed a season sweep of their arena-mates and clinched the division title in the process. Blake Griffin was once again a human highlight reel as he poured in 24 points with an assortment of dunks and even a three pointer.

Lindsey Vonn posted a picture of herself on Instagram rehabbing the knee that she injured in that horrific wipe-out back in February with the caption "rehab is going well." Meanwhile her boyfriend Tiger Woods was in Augusta on Sunday preparing for this week's Masters tournament, where he is the favorite to win.
