Look, anything we write in this space would only delay you from watching the below highlights from Barcelona's 6-0 destruction of Getafe on Tuesday, which you really need to see. So let's get right to it.

In the eighth minute, Luis Suarez was clipped at the edge of the box and earned a penalty. Lionel Messi, who, for all his genius in the open field, has a rather spotty record from the penalty spot, pulled off the old-school Panenka to dink the ball past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita to make it 1-0.

Then, in the 25th minute, after Fredy's volley looped over Barca goalie Claudio Bravo, but bounced so slowly that he could scramble back in time to slap it out of the far top corner of his goal following the bounce, Suarez got the second.

Messi lifted a ball into him from the right and the Uruguayan spun and volleyed the ball off his toe all at once, sending it into the near top corner.

Before the half hour, Suarez won the ball high up the field and slipped it into Neymar, who faked outside and cut inside of his man and stuck it past the goalie. That made it 3-0.

Two minutes later, Xavi casually curled a shot into the far corner from outside the box, demonstrating why he's still Barca's OG. 4-0.

Before halftime, Suarez did more or less the same for his second of the game. That gave Barca the manita.

Finally, just after halftime, Suarez found Messi along the side of the box with an acrobatic pass. And the little Argentine deposited the ball well out of Guaita's reach and into the far side-netting, just to make sure everybody remembers he's the four-time world player of the year.

A while later, Fredy was once again denied when his finish dinked softly off the post, after Bravo was beaten again. But it wouldn't have much mattered. By this point Barca had the game sewn up tightly, and its league lead secured for another round of play. So it took its foot off the pedal and cruised through the remainder of the game.

They have much bigger games coming up, after all. Namely the Champions League semifinals against Bayern Munich, starting on May 6.

Heading into the final month of the season, Barca's form is soaring.
