It's been more than five years since (Fat) Ronaldo pulled a Real Madrid shirt over his portly frame, but that didn't stop the Brazilian from featuring on the front page of the Times of India, credited with the winning goal in the most recent El Clasico. That goal, of course, was actually scored by his partial namesake Cristiano Ronaldo.
Stats fans will be interested to know that (Fat) Ronaldo has scored in six previous El Clasico derbies, netting the deciding goal in December 2003 for Madrid and in 1997 for Barcelona.
The Times of India editors can live safe in the knowledge that they're not the first media outlet to mix up the two Ronaldos.
