Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel concedes terrible own goal

Manchester Utd legend Peter Schmeichel heaped praise on David De Gea on Saturday, declaring his superb first-half save against Sunderland as one of the best he's ever seen in the Premier League.

The legendary Dane was probably not as impressed with his own son Kasper, who made the difference in Leicester's visit to Doncaster by parrying the ball into his own net in a highly embarrassing fashion.

In the 17th minute, Donny winger Mark Duffy took a very average corner, which curled straight into Schmeichel Jr's hands. Under absolutely no pressure, the 26-year-old then let the ball slip through his grasp as if his gloves had been dipped in one of The Berba's vats of baby oil.

Leicester could have joined Burnley and QPR at the top of the Championship with a win, but the own goal gave Doncaster their first home victory in four attempts instead.
