Perhaps he had just watched all three of Christopher Nolan's Batman films in row or maybe he's just a big American Psycho fan, but during Sir Alex Ferguson's interview before Man United's match against Spurs, he got a little confused between Tottenham's Welsh winger Gareth Bale and Welsh actor Christian Bale.
"And of course Christian Bale and Aaron Lennon are all quick players..." Ferguson said. Though Gareth Bale would prove that speed by zooming past Rio Ferdinand as if he were on the Batcycle and scoring in the first half, he has probably never even seen Newsies, let alone acted in it.
