Olympic speed skaters Bonnie Blair and Johann Kass recreate 1994 Sports Illustrated cover

Twenty years ago, American speed skater Bonnie Blair and Norwegian speed skater Johann Kass were named Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year in Sports Illustrated.

On Sunday, they recreated the photo that graced the cover of the magazine.

Blair won gold medals in the 500 meters and 1,000 meters during the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway and became the first American woman to win five gold medals.

Kass won gold medals in the 1,50o, 5,000 and 10,000 meters during the Lillehammer Olympics.

After his speed skating career ended, Kass started a global organization called Right to Play International, which helps empower children facing adversity through athletics.
