Watch 15-year-old Graeme Clarke pull off ‘The Michigan’ goal (Video)

Graeme Clarke is a 15-year-old forward for the Toronto Marlboros AAA Minor Midget team. He’s skating on the 2016 World Selects Invitational in Philadelphia this week, and decided to pull off one of the most skillful (and goalie nightmare-inducing) moves in hockey: The Michigan Goal.

An Ottawa native, Clarke took the puck behind the net as the goaltender and his defenseman watched. He lifted the disc onto his blade and tucked it right past the goalie’s mask for the goal. And the goalie just sorta stayed there, frozen in place.

(Do not adjust your sets: The same goal is played, like, 30 times in the clip.)

Clarke’s one to watch. According to our podcasting buddy Jeff Marek, “he’s a scoring winger who plays with high end centre Allan McShane (who will likely be a top-10 pick in the OHL Priority Draft). Plays on a powerhouse team and usually with all the top players.”

Clarke was expected to apply for exceptional player status in the OHL Draft, but did not. He'll wait for 2017.
