Five things to know about tonight's NHL games ...

1) Honoring the King. Before puck drops, the Rangers will honor Henrik Lundqvist with a ceremony for breaking the franchise's records for shutouts and regular season wins. It's been a pretty good few days for Lundqvist as he was named the NHL's second star of the week on Monday.

2) Jeff Carter, Mike Richards head back to Philly. Memories of the June 2011 trade are reignited as the two sides square off. Richards didn't speak with the media on Monday, but Carter said he expects some boos from the Philly faithful.

3) Nikita Kucherov returns for Lighting. After spending time in the press box and going goalless in 14 games, Kucherov is in tonight against the Senators. The 20 year old admitted confidence is low, but head coach Jon Cooper says that's expected with a youngster still learning the ropes of the NHL.

4) Stars' power play needs a jump. From the Dallas Morning News: "The Stars rank seventh in power-play opportunities at 279, but have seen their average drop from 3.55 to 2.5 per game in the last six games."

5) Sharks looking to clinch. San Jose can clinch a playoff spot in any of three ways: a win or overtime/shootout loss to the Flames or regulation losses for Phoenix or Dallas or both the Coyotes and Stars lose in regulation.

Bold prediction: Carter and Richards go pointless as the Flyers roll on with a 4-2 win.
