No. 1 Star: Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings

Back from representing Slovenia in Sochi, Kopitar led the Kings during a wild 6-4 shootout over the Colorado Avalanche. Kopitar recorded a three-point night, with his second goal coming early in the third period to break a 4-4 tie, giving the Kings the lead for good. He has seven points in his last three games.

No. 2 Star: Eddie Lack, Vancouver Canucks

Lack needed only 20 saves as the Canucks became the first team this season to shutout the St. Louis Blues with a 1-0 win. Jannik Hansen's goal 11:13 into the third period was the difference as Lack recorded his third shutout of the season. Jaroslav Halak made 34 saves in the loss.

No. 3 Star: Matt D'Agostini, Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres scored goals with 53 seconds left in the third period to tie the game and then 22 seconds into overtime to come from behind and defeat the Boston Bruins 5-4. Matt Moulson tied the game late and then D'Agostini wasted no time ensuring Buffalo's first two-game win streak since mid-December by beating Chad Johnson early in the extra frame:

Honorable mention: Jamie McBain, Zemgus Girgensons, Brian Flynn and Ville Leino all recorded two points for the Sabres ...With his 10th goal in his last 11 games, Gustav Nyquist continued his hot run helping the Red Wings get by the Montreal Canadiens 2-1. Nyquist saved his heroics until there were 28 seconds left in overtime:

Detroit has now played 3,000 road games in their history ... Nice stop here by Martin Jones:

Did You Know? The win ended Jhonas Enroth's 0-14-4 slide. (AP)
