USC’s final preseason depth chart is quite unclear

If you're a fan of being unable to choose amongst a lot of options, you're going to be a fan of USC's depth chart entering its season opener against Hawaii on Thursday. Though by that same token, you may not be able to decide whether you like it or not.

Coach Lane Kiffin released the chart Saturday and nothing much has changed at the quarterback position, where Max Wittek and Cody Kessler are both listed as starters. But the fun doesn't end there.

12 positions, counting special teams, have multiple starters listed. 12! The biggest morass is in the secondary, where all four positions have multiple starters listed and both safety positions have three players designated in bold. Three starters are also listed at tailback.

Of course, Kiffin likely knows who's going to start at quarterback and all those positions listed in Hawaii, but it's fun to keep us and (maybe) the Warriors guessing, right? Imagine if he was this indecisive about stocking ice cream when he and Marqise Lee delivered it to the USC band earlier this week. That truck would have ended up with either all vanilla or one of everything.
