Katherine Webb goes to spring game, poses for a ton of pictures with fans

When Katherine Webb watched Alabama win the national championship in January, she did so in a way that allowed her to watch the game. The ESPN cameras showed her often, but aside from a lot of text messages and Twitter followers, that wasn't too much of a hindrance.

But now she's famous, after the TV news appearances, the SI swimsuit issue, Vanity Fair underwear shoots and the reality diving show. Taking in an Alabama game as a fan and quarterback AJ McCarron's girlfriend might be a little more difficult.

As Busted Coverage pointed out, Webb went to the spring game and was a popular spectator, as you'd expect from the most famous girlfriend in college football history.

Here's a sampling of some of the pictures that Busted Coverage found on social media:

We've said since right after her fame blew up that Webb has handled this all tremendously. There were many more pictures of Webb and fans from Saturday's spring game, which we wonder if she even got to watch. She is Miss Alabama, so she wasn't entirely surprised by the fame and attention. Still, this is probably more than she ever imagined.

It has to be a bit of a grind for her, especially when stories are being written about Alabama fans' feelings about the relationship between McCarron and Webb and it leads to things like this to USA Today:

"Honestly, I'm concerned about it," Hunter Johnson, an Alabama fan from Tuscaloosa, told USA Today. "I kind of want them to break up because I'm more concerned with our football team than I am with their relationship. I think it's great that she capitalized the way she has, but I don't want anything to interfere with us going three in a row."

In fairness, the USA Today story said a majority of Alabama fans didn't take this rather insane stance. Thank goodness. But you get the point. Fame isn't always fun.

We don't feel all that bad for Webb or anything, because she has embraced her fame and sought out opportunities from it, but at the same time it's pretty clear that doing something like taking in the Alabama spring game won't be the same for her anymore.
