Georgia Tech’s punter got air-tackled on a fake punt (VIDEO)

This did not work out well for Georgia Tech.

Facing fourth-and-11 from the Mississippi 49 yardline in the second quarter of the Music City Bowl, the Yellow Jackets went for a fake punt. However, that involved punter Sean Poole attempting to get all 11 yards from scrimmage himself via a run.

He didn't make it back to the line of scrimmage before he fell down.

Of course, as you can see, Poole wasn't going to get the first down anyway. He was being converged on by multiple Ole Miss defenders and unless he broke out some superhuman PunterHulk strength to break a bunch of tackles, he was toast. So he saved himself a hit or two by falling down by himself. But not some embarrassment.
