Cincinnati’s late prayer beats Virginia Tech (VIDEO)

In addition to having one of the coolest names in college football, it turns out Cincinnati quarterback Munchie Legaux can engineer one heck of a 2-minute drill.

When Virginia Tech scored on a 56-yard touchdown with 1:49 remaining, it looked like that might be enough to beat the Bearcats. But Munchie decided he wasn't done eating (OK, OK, we'll stop now).

Legaux drove the Bearcats into Hail Mary range, and then made a heck of a play to give receiver Damon Julian a chance, buying just enough time against a heavy pass rush to fling a nice pass towards the end zone. Julian did the rest, making a fantastic sliding catch, and maintaining possession as he rolled in the end zone for the winning score with 13 seconds left.

Legaux didn't have the most efficient day, completing just 19-of-42 passes, but he made big plays. He had 376 yards on those 19 completions, including the game winner to keep the Bearcats perfect this season at 3-0.
