Cal QB Jared Goff catches ground-rule double at Giants game
Cal quarterback Jared Goff may have been more excited Thursday night at the San Francisco Giants game than he is when he throws a touchdown pass.
Goff caught a ground-rule double off the bat of Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford who, coincidentally, went to UCLA.

Goff was sitting in the front row of left field and easily made the catch on the big hop off Crawford's hit.

We do give Goff props for still wearing the Tim Lincecum jersey. Some folks would have jumped ship after Lincecum's recent struggles. He was also so proud of his accomplishment that he made sure to tell CSN Bay Area reporter Amy Gutierrez that he caught the ball.
.@AmyGGiants Hey I caught the ground rule double...

Now that the ground-rule double is off his checklist, he needs to catch a home run next.
