Buffalo and WKU long snappers duel with trick snap videos

Trick shot quarterbacks and kickers usually dominate the offseason, but a pair of long snappers want the college football world to know that they’re no slouches when it comes to trick "snap" magic.

Buffalo’s Corbin Grassman started the craze when his brother, punter Tyler Grassman, posted a couple videos to Twitter of his brother knocking a bottle off a teammate’s head and long snapping a ball off the third deck of the stadium into a trash can.

Gotta be honest, while watching Grassman launch that ball toward his teammates, this scene went flashing through my head.

Not to be outdone, of course, Western Kentucky posted a video of long snapper Nolan Dowling launching the ball from inside the Jack and Jackie Harbaugh Club into a trash can on the field.

In terms of distance and the ability to launch a ball through an open door, Dowling win this one. But the ability to knock a bottle from a teammate’s head is something special in its own right.

Now, let’s all brace ourselves for the onslaught of long snapper trick shot videos as they all attempt to outduel each other.

However, few will ever be able to top the original long snapper trick shot master long snapper Zach Smith, the USC Trojan who made his trick shot video as part of his high school recruiting campaign.
