Baylor coach Art Briles uses Twitter to show off how hip he is

Baylor coach Art Briles joined Twitter this week and he wasted no time showing all of those who were following him just how cool and hip he was.

Seriously.

Here are two of his first four tweets:

So, wrap your brain around the fact that Briles is familiar with the "Stanky Legg" (though we're still waiting for video see if he actually knows how to do it) and then know that he’s apparently a big fan of rapper Roscoe Dash, who sings the song “All the Way Turnt Up.”

If you had given me a lineup of college coaches who might know these two songs and asked me to pick one, Briles would not have been at the top of the list. Now, if we were talking about the "Boot Scootin' Boogie," Briles would have had my vote.

It's probably no coincidence that Briles is dropping the names of popular rap song on his Twitter feed shortly after following some of the nation's top recruits. When Briles joined Twitter this week, his first follow was four-star receiver KD Cannon. He’s since followed several high-level recruits that make for a very interesting recruiting lineup.

So keep doing what you do, coach. We’ll see how it pays off next February.
