Kyle O’Quinn sings ‘One Shining Moment,’ though not very well

Kyle O'Quinn's effort in Norfolk State's 86-84 win against Missouri in the Round of 64 of the NCAA tournament has made the Spartans' senior center one of the main attractions of the early rounds of March Madness.

It started with O'Quinn scoring 26 points and grabbing 14 rebounds to lead the No. 15-seed Spartans over the No. 2-seed Tigers, and then he gave the quote of the tournament when he told Craig Sager, "We messed up some brackets! We messed up some brackets! ... We even messed up my bracket."

** As an aside, O'Quinn said he didn't do a bracket this year, but if he had he would have picked Missouri to win. **

And on Saturday, during an interview with CBS, O'Quinn showed off his vocal skills and his knowledge of the NCAA tournament anthem, "One Shining Moment."

Aside from his lack of a singing voice, O'Quinn did actually know all the words to the intro of the song, which was pretty impressive. And he wasn't too shy to sing them on national television for everyone to scrutinize.

If Norfolk State beats Florida on Sunday, O'Quinn could not only endear himself and his team to the country — sans Missouri and Florida fans — but also to those who scout for the professional ranks.
