One thing to know: Peterson takes PED accusations as compliment

Adrian Peterson's 2012 rushing campaign was one of the greatest in football history. Add to his performance the fact that he was battling back from ACL and MCL tears, and it becomes downright mind-boggling. And when an athlete does something mind-boggling in today's day and age, sports fans have been conditioned to immediately assume something sinister is afoot.

Peterson admitted recently, however, that he takes it as a compliment when people accuse him of performance-enhancing drug use, saying it means he must be doing something right. Mike Florio sees Peterson’s attitude as refreshing compared to the normal accusation and denial routine we’re used to seeing.
