Mad Dash: Social media mocks Tony Romo's injury pose

Few athletes know the full power of social media mockery like Tony Romo. The Dallas quarterback has been the brunt of jokes online dating back to the days of dropped playoff holds and dating Jessica Simpson. So it goes without saying that when he was clocked on the behind during Sunday's 26-21 playoff loss to the Packers, the best (and worst) photoshop skills on web would be put to the test. The pose Romo struck after getting hit was perfect for a number of ideas, from Sports Illustrated swimsuit covers to that famous scene from Titanic. The lesson, as always: Don't do anything, ever, or the Internet will get you.

Another person who's been ridiculed for his association with the Cowboys is New Jersey governor Chris Christie. His appearances in Jerry Jones' luxury suite have been widely documented, as well as the Dallas owner saying Christie might be the team's good luck charm. There were plenty of Packers fans ready to pounce on the governor, but none more so than fellow Republican Paul Ryan, a Green Bay fan who watched from the stands with his family. He had a little tweak ready for Christie on Twitter.

To close out our full Dash of social media news, Warren Sapp is really unhappy with Miami not renewing its apparel deal with Nike. New supplier Adidas sent Sapp some debut cleat samples, which Sapp promptly slashed, photographed, and slammed on Instagram. Tell us how you really feel, Warren. (He's since removed the photo.)
