Mad Dash: MLB's most famous organ auctioned off, finds interesting new home

Nancy Faust was the organist for the White Sox for 40 years before she retired in 2010, and this holiday season, the White Sox announced they'd be auctioning of the most famous organ in baseball as part of their annual garage sale for team charities. That's a pretty cool piece of baseball history, right? Well, the news gets better because Josh Kantor, the Red Sox organist, put in a bid – and won. Naturally, he was pretty excited, and while he hasn't yet revealed his plans for his new prized possession, we think it'd be pretty cool if it ended up at Fenway. Though we're not sure how White Sox fans would feel about that.

Twitter scorn isn't hard to find, and is often available in the mentions of just about anyone with a high enough profile. But a few instances need to be highlighted purely for how well the person receiving the bluster handled and responded to it. Case in point: Brian Billick's sharp retort to an annoying Browns fan. When the troll questioned Billick's bonafides, he was merciless, citing his Super Bowl victory with a Ravens franchise that was just a few years removed from leaving Cleveland.

How excited would you be to get your favorite player's autograph? The answer, we're afraid to report, is not nearly as excited as this kid.
