Mad Dash: Josh Norman's teammate goes on Twitter defense of bat use

On Monday, the NFL handed Odell Beckham Jr. a one-game suspension for his on-field altercations with Panthers cornerback Josh Norman. Reports came out that Beckham felt threatened by Norman before the game. Those reports (at least the parts that didn't include homophobia) gained some weight when video fo Norman swinging a bat during pregame warm-ups surfaced. The Panthers claim the bat is nothing new and symbolizes "bringing the wood," and Norman's partner in the secondary, Bene Benwikerie, went on a Twitter spree, posting every picture he could find of players carrying bats onto the field during pregame. So, if feeling intimidated by a bat is really excuse Beckham went with, we can see why the NFL decided to suspend him.

Pretty much everyone int he country has seen or has plans to see the new Star Wars movie, including Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, who saw the film on opening night with two of his sons. It seems Harbaugh enjoyed the film, with one exception. Spoiler alert: Darth Vader does not make an appearance. Harbaugh even had this to say aout one of the film's most notorious villains: "I love Darth Vader. He's just relentless, he's a jackhammer." We're not sure what exactly to take away from this, except that if you're an Ohio State fan it's just more proof that Michigan represents the "Dark Side."
