Oshie plays hero in USA-Russia shootout
They needed eight rounds, but Team USA finally topped Russia behind T.J. Oshie's stellar performance in the shootout. Oshie was 4-6 in his attempts against goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, including the game-winner that put away Russia for good.

The most adorable #SochiProblem yet
The Polar Bear mascot at the Sochi Games attempts to get in the front seat of an SUV, but the size of his apparently irremovable head prevents it from fitting through the door. Despite the considerable (and hysterical) effort and persistence of its handlers, the mascot is forced to lay down in the backseat.

Super-mom has super moment with family
Noelle Pikus-Pace capped off her career with a brilliant run, which gave her the lead at the time and eventually led to a silver medal in the women's skeleton event. The 31-year-old mother of two proceeded to jump into the stands with her family, a perfect moment that Pikus-Pace told Meredith Vieira wouldn't have happened without her husband.
